For the past year I have undertaken a project of illustrating the lectionary texts. The lectionary texts are the designated scripture texts for each sunday of the year. The chosen texts are meant to coincide with the cycle of the church year. There are three years of lectionary texts, so I expect this series of drawings to be complete in late 2010. We have been using these illustrations for cover art on our Sunday bulletin. The images were also used extensively in the film The Life of Christ.
